At lloydmasters, we have an outstanding track record in working with major international companies to build sustainable excellence in safety culture and safety leadership.

• We have played a key role in designing, piloting and delivering BP's global programmes for safety culture and safety leadership. Within this remit, we have led director-level programmes with the BP Group and with BP's major business units in four continents. We have designed, piloted and rolled out BP's two key leadership training courses (on safety culture for senior operational leaders and on day-to-day safety interventions for line managers). Over 5,000 BP managers have now attended these programmes. Again as part of this remit we have become BP's designated global subject-matter experts on topics such as Control-of-Work leadership (i.e. all aspects of managing the planning, permitting and execution of work on hazardous plant).
• Also in the oil industry, we have worked with other operators-such as Shell - and drilling contactors - such as Global Santa Fe - to build safety leadership expertise.
• For Britain's largest merchant shipping fleet and for a major shipping operator in the Middle East we have developed and delivered two-year rolling programmes of management and crew engagement in proactive safety improvement across multiple cultures and locations.
• In the construction sector, we have designed and delivered a series of board, management and workforce interventions covering safety culture, safety leadership and behavioural safety. Our UK clients have included Balfour Beatty, Taylor Wimpey and other leading names.

In the rail industry and the nuclear industry we have deep expertise in working with leaders on risk reduction initiatives and programmes.
